Dr. Malkishuana Lacy is from Woodville, Texas. He graduated with top honors from Woodville High School in 1996, and earned his Associate Degree in Natural Sciences from Tyler Junior College in 2001. Later on in 2001, Dr. Lacy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Lamar University. In 2008, he went on to graduate from the University of Houston College of Optometry. His clinical experience includes Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas; First Eye Care in Dallas, Texas; Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada and True Vision in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Lacy’s professional accomplishments include serving as a Captain in the United States Air Force, member of American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, National Optometric Association, Dallas County Optometric Society, and Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Lacy enjoys traveling, Vinyasa yoga, weight lifting, cycling and spending quality time with his wife and three children.
